From A to B with WOW in between – transfer with a guide

Make the transfer into a wow-experience! Going from the Airport to the accommodation or from another area in Portugal to the Algarve, don’t need to be only a boring transportation. With me as your driver and professional guide, I offer you a comfortable transfer on beautiful roads including shorter stops at interesting locations and magic views.

You decide how much time want to add to the “normal” transfer-time, and I’ll create a matching route. Wow Guide Algarve’s bespoken luxury picnic with wine and local delicacies are always included.

Every road trip will be tailored for each client. Here is inspiration and examples:

From Faro airport to your accommodation.

Start your stay in the Algarve with a WOW! Wherever your accommodation is located, the trip from the airport can be turned into a wow experience without adding a lot of extra time. Why not surprise your travel company with a luxury picnic lunch from a cliff with a breathtaking sea view?

Price example: Faro Airport to Lagos, 3 hours € 450. 2 persons 2 large and 2 small luggage.

If you want a normal, quick transfer to or from the airport, Wow Guide Algarve is not the one to hire. I can highly recommend my collaboration partners for this.

From the Algarve to the Douro Valley

Maybe to the famous SPA Six Senses? You can chose the faster highway with a stop for a lunch and visit in the medieval town Tomar, where the Knight Templars had their head quarter.  Of course, some hidden gems, wow-spots and my luxury picnic is included.

Price example: Vilamoura to Six Senses with a stop in Tomar (se info below) and a couple of other detours for magic views and picnic. 8-9 hours, € 2000. 2 persons 2 large and 2 small luggage.

Another option is to drive through the inland of eastern Portugal and enjoy all the beautiful regions and the diverse nature. There are plenty of options where to stop along the way. For example in one of my own favorite historical villages – Marvão with a breathtaking view from the top of the castle. This route demands a overnight stay.

The Convent of the Knights Templar goes back to 1160 and has been an important part of the European history. This enormous, gothic monument is protected by Unesco.

Marvão is a small, picturesque village located on top of a mountain in the eastern, central Portugal. It has been a strategic defense point for hundreds of years.

From the Algarve to Lisbon

Instead of the soulless highway, I’ll take you from Lisbon around Setubal and down by the coastline all the way to Sagres and “the end of the world”. You will see long, golden beaches, magnificent cliffs, cork oaks, vineyards and olive plantages.

There is also an option to visit the castle in Aljezur or the mountains of Monchique.

Price example: Albufeira to Lisbon airport 7-8 hours, € 1500. 2 persons 2 large and 2 small luggage.

Price example: Mostly the highway with a couple of detours for beautiful views and picnic. 4-5 hours – € 750

From Seville to the Algarve

Seville airport could be a good option if you can’t find a good flight to Faro. Seville is located only 1,5 hours drive to the Portuguese border. There are no border control and no hussle compared to renting your own car.

When we have passed the magnificent bridge over the river Guardiana, that marks the border, we will make several stops on the way to your accommodation.

Stunning beaches, serpentine mountain roads, lakes, medieval villages and castles. Together we plan the trip to be a true wow experience.

Price example: Seville Airport to Quinta do Lago, 4-5 hours € 750. 2 persons 2 large and 2 small luggage.

Anywhere else? Let me know where you’re heading and I’ll give you a wow-trip to remember!
