The gelateria is located in the picturesque small town Vila Real de Santo Antonio, close to the Spanish border. The owners will tell you how the gelato is made and the history of this cold delicacy.
Apart from this yummy stop, we will visit the majestic castle of Castro Marim located on a hill where we can trace the history back thousands of years. The luxury road trip includes amazing wow-views of the coast line, both from the golden beaches and from the hills in the countryside. This road trip will give you a chance to get to know the diverse nature of the eastern Algarve.
The area is known for the Flamingos who lives around the river of Guardiana. If we are lucky we will get a chance to see them but they are not very good at following my road trip calendar, so sometimes they forgot to show up in time……..
